Jade Ang Jackman is a London-based director & photographer of British and Malaysian Chinese heritage. Since being commissioned to make her debut branded film for Gucci in 2020, her work has continued to infuse themes of gender with fashion and movement. Today, this has evolved into representations of women and "strength” specifically within the action genre, martial arts, and sport. She is currently working on her debut feature film project and makes work across the narrative, non-fiction and commercial spheres.
She’s worked with brands such as Gucci, UEFA, Channel 4, Miu Miu, Audible, UEFA, Canon, GQ, Nowness Asia, 4AD, British Vogue, Warner Music & Entertainment, Resident Advisor and more. Her films have screened at Sundance, BFI, Aesthetica, London Short Film Festival and at institutions such as the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Tate and more.
